John Wall Among Those Participating In Las Vegas Professional Summer League

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has confirmed he is one of several NBA players who will be participating in the Impact Basketball pro-only summer league in Las Vegas, providing the news to Michael Lee of the Washington Post. Wall is one of at least 60 NBA players who are expected to take part in the league, which begins on September 12.

The league will be run by Impact Basketball, led by famed trainer Joe Abunassar, who has worked with a number of top professionals. Many of those players will also be taking part in this league, which Abunassar is hoping to cap at 64 NBA players. This would allow him to easily form eight teams of eight players each to participate in what Abunassar is calling a series of "organized training sessions."

Lee reports that Wall is trying to recruit a number of his Wizards teammates, including (potentially) Nick Young and Jordan Crawford.
