Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash was re-evaluated by team doctors on Friday and will miss at least one more week.

Nash missed Los Angeles' last four games due to a non-displaced fracture in his fibula which he suffered in the second game of the season against Portland. He was originally expected to miss 7-10 days, but other reports indicated he may miss up to a month. By sitting out at least another week, Nash will miss a minimum of three more games, including the Lakers' game against Nash's old team, the Phoenix Suns, on Friday.

The injury occurred during the first half of the Lakers' game against Portland, when Nash collided with Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard. Nash attempted to come back into the game in the second half, but was unable to play and a small fracture was discovered after the game.

Nash has been going through individual drill at practice and will be re-evaluated again at the end of the week.
