Kobe Bryant Wants Pau Gasol Trade Rumors Cleared Up

The Los Angeles Lakers would like to clear up cap room to make a run at Dwight Howard or another marquee superstar. Pau Gasol is a very productive, but aging player on a very large contract. This has led to the circulation of all kinds of trade rumors, though it's unclear whether or not the Lakers want to pull the trigger on a Gasol trade. Management might feel that they can contend for a championship with Gasol in the lineup this year, hence their reluctance. Kobe Bryant isn't terribly thrilled with this situation.

Following the game between the Lakers and Phoenix Suns on Sunday night, SB Nation Arizona made their way down to the locker room and Bryant made it clear what he thinks of the Gasol situation.

"I wish management would come out and either trade him or not trade him ... I'd rather for them to not trade him at all. If they want to do something, I wished they'd just fucking do it and if they're not going to do it, come out and say you're not going to do it. ...This way he can be comfortable and he can go out and he can perform and he can play and invest all of himself into (the team)."

Well, now we know what Kobe thinks. Thanks, Kobe!
