Blake Griffin Injury Video: Forward Tweaks Knee In USA Basketball Practice

We knew that Blake Griffin needed an MRI after hurting his knee in practice, but now we can see how it happened. Thanks to cameras filming one of the team's scrimmages with the USA Select Team, we see two plays where Griffin's knee appears to get tweaked:

That doesn't look particularly good. On the first play, a guard coming off a pick barrels directly into Griffin's left knee, but he keeps playing through it. Later, he appears primed to finish a Blake Griffin-esque dunk off of a nice behind the back pass by Deron Williams, but instead of throwing down, Demarcus Cousins crashes into Griffin and the Clippers' forward comes down awkwardly on the same knee.

We still don't know whether or not Griffin will be okay to play in a few weeks in London, but he certainly won't play in tonight's matchup against the Dominican Republic.
