A rash of injuries have created a couple of open spots on the 2012 USA Olympic basketball team, but those slots will be filled Saturday night when USA Basketball announces its complete roster for the London Olympics..

Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are among the players who pulled out of the Olympics recently due to injury. Team USA still has a formidable roster with the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant, but there is still plenty of intrigue as to who will claim the remaining spots.

Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, Tyson Chandler and Kevin Love are also expected to be named to the team. That would leave three open spots on the 12-man USA roster. Blake Griffin, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon and Andre Iguodala are the six players competing for the open spots.

The USA Basketball Selection Show will begin at 7 p.m. EDT and be broadcast on NBA TV. Following the roster announcement, NBA TV will broadcast the USA Basketball news conference.
