NBA scores: Jeff Green hits game-winner against Heat, Pacers remain undefeated

It was a busy Saturday night of basketball with a few great finishes, highlighted by a tremendous game-winning shot from a Celtic.

The NBA slapped nine games together for a solid slate over the weekend. There was a wild finish in Miami, a double overtime in Cleveland that Uncle Drew put a stop to, and a certain Indiana Pacer took a selfie during his post-game interview after the team moved on to a 7-0 record.

Here's a roundup of the great night of action:

Boston Celtics 111, Miami Heat 110

The Miami Heat were 0.6 seconds away from their fifth victory of the season, holding on to a two-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Celtics had one inbounds play left to either force overtime or go for the game-winning shot. Miami did a great job covering the first set of options for Boston, but Gerald Wallace threw a miracle pass that led Jeff Green to the far corner. Green managed to gather the pass and get the shot off over LeBron James in time for this incredible game-winning shot:

Hey man, nice shot. Green finished the game with 24 points, going five-of-eight from beyond the arc.

LeBron James had a game-high 25 points on 69 percent shooting, notched 10 assists and was two rebounds away from completing a triple-double. Chris Bosh scored 20 points.

Indiana Pacers 96, Brooklyn Nets 91

The Indiana Pacers remain undefeated after holding off a fourth quarter push from Paul Pierce and the Brooklyn Nets. Pierce scored eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter, but Paul George had seven fourth quarter points of his own to counteract "The Truth." Yes, even with this crazy shooters' bounce on a Pierce three going their way, the Nets couldn't capitalize for a comeback:

Joe Johnson had a chance to tie the game with 16.2 seconds left but missed a pretty good look. David West drained the two free throws after Brooklyn was forced to foul, and the Pacers' record remains intact. Here's a look at the shot Johnson had to force overtime:

It's worth noting that all of Brooklyn's starters reached double-digits in scoring besides Kevin Garnett, but he did have a nice putback dunk:

Not bad for an old man.

George finished with 24 points for the seventh straight game and also grabbed six rebounds. Roy Hibbert pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and also had one selfie after the game. The Pacers' big man pulled out his phone and snapped a shot of himself during his post-game interview on NBATV:

Cleveland Cavaliers 127, Philadelphia 76ers 125

Since we're on the note of clutch situations, how about this game-winning layup in the second overtime of the Cavaliers vs. 76ers game from Kyrie Irving:

Yes, that's a left-handed finish with just 11 seconds left. Irving missed opportunities to put the game away at the end of the fourth quarter and first overtime, but got the shot to fall on his third attempt. Irving scored a game-high 39 points and dished 12 assists for a double-double.

Michael Carter-Williams also had a double-double with 21 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds. Evan Turner scored a team-high 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Los Angeles Clippers 107, Houston Rockets 94

The Houston Rockets lost their second game to the Los Angeles Clippers in five days, dropping them to 4-3. The Clippers' starters had big games all around.

Chris Paul had 14 points and 13 assists, Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick each scored 22 points, and DeAndre Jordan pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds. That's one more board than Dwight Howard and Omer Asik combined. Add in Jordan Crawford's 11 points in the fourth quarter (16 points total) and the Clippers were in control through their double-digit victory.

Howard finished with 21 points and eight rebounds, missing six of his 11 free-throw attempts. James Harden made one of his six three-point attempts, scoring 12 points on 15 field goal attempts.

Toronto Raptors 115, Utah Jazz 91

The Toronto Raptors scored 62 first-half points and never looked back against the Utah Jazz. Raise your hand if you had Tyler Hansbrough scoring 23 points as a team-high in a Raptors win. None? Okay.

Utah was led by Gordon Hayward's game-high 24 points, but he missed all five of his three-point attempts. The Jazz struggled as a team from beyond the arc, making three of their 18 attempts.

DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay combined to go 10-of-25 from the field.

Atlanta Hawks 104, Orlando Magic 94

Atlanta's entire starting lineup reached double-digit scoring totals, as did Mike Scott off the bench, and the Hawks picked up their third victory of the season. Orlando, meanwhile, extended their road losing streak to 15 games.

Kyle Korver scored 14 points and extended his "at least one made three-point shot in a game" streak to 79. If you're on Korver watch, that's 10 games away from the all-time consecutive games with a made three record.

Memphis Grizzlies 108, Golden State Warriors 90

The Memphis Grizzlies mauled the Golden State Warriors in an 18-point victory. The Warriors were on the second half of a back-to-back, following up a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Stephen Curry was back in their lineup, but the usually efficient sharpshooter shot 38 percent while scoring a team-high 22 points.

The Grizzlies' "Big Three" of Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Mike Conley went to work on the Warriors. They combined for 61 points, 21 rebounds and 12 assists.

Dallas Mavericks 91, Milwaukee Bucks 83

Monta Ellis scored a team-high 18 points in his return to Milwaukee, and the Mavericks weathered the storm of O.J. Mayo putting up 28 points on his former team. Milwaukee went out of their way to boo Monta:

Portland Trail Blazers 96, Sacramento Kings 85

This marks the second night in a row the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Sacramento Kings. DeMarcus Cousins scored a game-high 34 points on 54 percent shooting, but the Kings' other four starters combined for just 16 points.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 24 points and had a game-high 14 rebounds. Wesley Matthews was 8-of-11 from the field, scoring 21 points.

One last note of the night; the Blazers won despite Damian Lillard going just 1-of-15 from the field.
