New, comments

The Portland Trail Blazers are off to a 15-3 start, but can they keep it up? We're a bit skeptical.

Coach Nick dives deep into the analytics behind this amazing start by the Portland Trail Blazers. Behind the hot shooting of Wesley Matthews, tough low post play by LaMarcus Aldridge, and the point guard play of reigning Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard, the Blazers have taken control of the Western Conference with a 14-3 record.

But what exactly are they doing so well?

Coach Nick goes through some key categories like catch and shoot and opponent's three-point attempts, as well as demonstrates some clever offensive sets devised by head coach Terry Stotts.

While their hot shooting has certainly helped them jump out of the gate, they still have some attainable improvement on offense to fall back on.

Find out the two main problem spots for the Trail Blazers and what might hold them back from serious contention in the bloodbath that is the Western Conference.
