NBA trade rumors: Jazz could send Paul Millsap to Clippers for Eric Bledsoe

Eric Bledsoe is becoming a sought-after commodity as the NBA trade deadline nears.

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe has become one of the most talked about names on the trade market as the NBA trade deadline approaches Thursday.

The latest rumor, from Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com, has the Utah Jazz offering forward Paul Millsap for Bledsoe.

"Although two sources with knowledge of the Clippers' thinking insisted during All-Star Weekend that Bledsoe would not be moved in coming days and strongly predicted that L.A. would stand pat, two other sources indicated that the Clippers and Jazz will at least discuss the feasibility of a trade headlined by Bledsoe and Millsap before the deadline," Stein and Shelburne reported.

Millsap, who will be a free agent in the offseason, is averaging 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent. He's part of a crowded Jazz frontcourt that also includes veteran Al Jefferson, another name involved in trade rumors, as well as promising young big men Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter.

Bledsoe has been valuable as an injury fill-in and defensive standout for the Clippers this season. He's averaging 9.6 points and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 45 percent.
