Knicks vs. Wizards final score: New York's winning streak ends after 106-96 loss

John Wall's all-around play and Trevor Ariza's bench scoring propeled the Wizards to an upset of the New York Knicks Wednesday.

The Washington Wizards outscored the New York Knicks, 36-23, in the fourth quarter to come back and secure a 106-96 win on Wednesday night.

John Wall led the Wizards with 21 points, nine assists and five rebounds, and Trevor Ariza scored 20 points off the bench. Four other Wizards were in double figures: Martell Webster had 19 points, Nene dropped 13 points, Emeka Okafor scored 12 and Chris Singleton had 10 points off the bench.

The Wizards led at halftime, but fell behind after the Knicks had a 25-19 advantage in the third quarter. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 31 points, and Amar'e Stoudemire scored 19 points off the bench. J.R. Smith had 13 points and Tyson Chandler had eight points and 13 rebounds. Chandler's streak of 20-rebound games came to an end after he had three straight.

The Wizards shot 53 percent for the game and held the Knicks to just 41 percent shooting.

The loss ends a five-game winning streak for the Knicks.
