Marc Gasol shot a blazing 10-for-13 from the field to finish with 21 points while adding four rebounds, two assists and an uncharacteristic five steals to lead the Grizzlies (44-19). Mike Conley notched a double-double and finished with 15 points and 11 assists.
The Clippers (45-21) didn't get their usual production from the second unit and had just 11 points off the bench. They were outclassed inside as the Grizzlies scored 46 points in the paint against just 30 for the Clippers. Both teams committed 12 turnovers.
The biggest disparity, though, came from long range, where Memphis shot an outstanding 50 ercent from the three-point line while the Clippers struggled at just 23.1 percent.
The Clippers will get a break before heading East to take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden March 17, while the Grizzlies will travel to the Mile High City on Friday for the toughest road test in the NBA, against the Denver Nuggets.
