Brooklyn boos David Stern with vigor in commissioner's final NBA Draft

Surprise! David Stern got booed when he stepped up to the stage.

David Stern not only didn't mind getting booed at the beginning of the 2013 NBA Draft. He seemed to thrive on it. It is Stern's 30th and final draft as commissioner; he'll retire on Feb. 1, 2014. This is really one of his final few major appearances. (The Heat's ring ceremony will be the next. He will not get booed in South Beach.)

Adam Silver should get his usual loud cheers when he steps up to the throne in the second round. But how will the crowd react to him in the big chair next season? Only time will tell.
