Eurobasket 2013 tips off Wednesday in what is the most NBA-influenced of the FIBA qualifying events for the 2014 World Cup.
With Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum, Boris Diaw, Johan Petro and Nando de Colo on its roster, France has the most NBA players of any European national squad that will play in Slovenia. Spain has a formidable lineup even without Pau Gasol -- brother Marc Gasol joins Jose Calderon, Victor Claver and Ricky Rubio.
