The Magic guard will miss all of November after taking an elbow to the face in practice.

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo suffered a facial fracture in practice Thursday and will reportedly miss a month of action, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. The Magic said he'd be out indefinitely on Friday morning.

Oladipo was injured after taking an elbow during a drill, and he'll undergo surgery on Saturday.

This is Oladipo's second injury of the preseason. The second-year guard suffered a sprained MCL during a scrimmage in early October and hadn't participated in any of the Magic's preseason games.

This is an unfortunate setback for Oladipo, who showed plenty of promise as a rookie last season. He finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind Michael Carter-Williams, posting averages of 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists.

Oladipo was set to take on an even bigger role this upcoming season as the Magic continue their rebuilding plan. But with the 22-year-old on the shelf for now, newcomer Evan Fournier will have an opportunity to step up. Orlando acquired Fournier when they traded Arron Afflalo to the Denver Nuggets.
