Chris Bosh and LeBron James were once thick as thieves, but now the Miami Heat center is lukewarm toward his former teammate, telling media Wednesday that he hasn't spoken to James since he left for Cleveland.

The Heat are scheduled to face the Cavaliers in Brazil on Saturday as part of the NBA preseason. Bosh was asked if he looked forward to seeing Jamesm and his answer was telling.

"Yeah ... I don't know. I'm in the mode where I'm trying to lead my team, help these guys out around here," he said. "If guys aren't in this locker room, I don't have much time for them -- if any."

LeBron returned to Cleveland in the offseason and is forming his own "Big Three" around Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. The Heat center didn't shy away from the significance of the two sides meeting in Rio De Janiero.

"Everybody's going to hype it up, and it's going to be a big deal. [...] As far as we're concerned, this is our team, this is what we're trying to build toward, the past is the past, we're moving on, and it's good to get this out of the way.''

The Heat and Cavaliers meet on Christmas Day for their first regular season matchup of 2014-15.
