Kobe Bryant is turning back the clock against the Clippers

The Lakers star doesn't look like a 36-year-old on Friday night.

Kobe Bryant shouldn't be this effective, not after tearing his Achilles and sustaining a serious knee injury in the last two seasons. Bryant scored 31 in his second game of the season on Wednesday and is stockpiling points again vs. the Clippers on Friday.

Mid-way through the third quarter, Kobe has 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting. He's done it in a variety of ways:

The Lakers are still likely to lose a bunch of games this season, but at least Kobe looking like Kobe will give fans a reason watch all year long. Seriously: who thought Kobe would be throwing down dunks like this so early in the season?
