The San Antonio Spurs are traditionally one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. You would never know it by the way they finished the first half against Tyreke Evans and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Tony Parker made a layup, leaving just 6.9 seconds on the clock. That proved to be plenty of time for Evans, however, who split two Spurs defenders outside the three-point line, quickly got into the paint and hit a layup as time expired while two more defenders watched:
Four Spurs had a decent chance to slow Evans, but they proved to be ineffective. Evans is known for his ability to get to the rim, so it's not like this came as a surprise.
