Oklahoma City is heading to its third Western Conference Finals in four years. On Thursday night, the Thunder beat the Clippers to advance to the next round, 104-98.

Chris Paul looked back to his normal self after a hellish Game 5. He and Blake Griffin combined for 19 points and 12 assists in the first half alone, as the Thunder struggled to find offensive consistency. A short run led by Kevin Durant and Reggie Jackson pushed the Clippers to a 50-42 lead at the half.

Oklahoma City appeared to take a shot in the arm when it lost Serge Ibaka to a left calf injury midway through the third quarter. As Nick Collison entered the game, Durant, Russell Westbrook and Jackson took over, and it was lights out from there.

Durant was impressive, getting to the three-point line with ease and taking advantage of midrange jumpers when the Clippers defense came out on him. Griffin fouled out with 2:27 remaining, and despite losing its big man Los Angeles made it a game in the final minute. Durant proved to be too much, and the Thunder closed the game on free throws.

For Oklahoma City, Durant scored 39 points on 12-of-23 shooting, adding 16 rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Westbrook scored 19 points, with 12 assists, three rebounds and two steals. Reggie Jackson provided a spark off the bench with 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting, totaling three assists, two rebounds and a steal.

Los Angeles was led by Paul, who scored 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting with 11 assists, seven rebounds and one steal. Griffin dropped 22 points to go along with eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a block. J.J. Redick added 16 points to go along with two steals and a rebound. DeAndre Jordan had a team-high 15 rebounds.
