Philadelphia 76ers select KJ McDaniels with No. 32 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft

The Sixers grab the Clemson standout to add to their young stockade of backcourt players.

The Philadelphia 76ers have selected KJ McDaniels from the University of Clemson with the No. 32 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. The defensive standout averaged 2.8 blocks as a member of the Tigers' backcourt in the 2013-14 NCAA season.

McDaniels wasn't a scoring threat his final season at Clemson, pouring in 17.1 points per-game on 45.9 percent shooting. He made a significant jump in all three seasons he played in the state of South Carolina, and helped led Clemson to a 20-12 season last year.
