The NBA's biggest stars will play for Team USA this August-September as America tries to win its second straight FIBA Basketball World Cup, but Kevin Love won't be among them as he wonders which NBA team he'll play for next season:
USA Basketball announces Kevin Love has withdrawn from playing with Team USA this summer.

Of course, Love, currently with the Minnesota Timberwolves, is quite likely to get traded, most likely to play with LeBron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers, but we're not quite sure what about that fact precludes him from joining Team USA in Spain. Is he worried a potential injury will ruin his trade stock? Does his agent not want to pay for foreign calls on Skype, making it impossible for him to receive updates while in Spain? Does he want to avoid an awkward goodbye with Ricky Rubio? (and/or JJ Barea, who will likely be there with the Puerto Rican national team?) Is he worried being too friendly around LeBron will tip off his future destination and make it impossible for the Timberwolves to get a good deal? Does he just HATE AMERICA?
Well, whichever one it is, he won't be with Team USA, robbing the American squad of his spectacular rebounding and a shooting big man, which is so important in the international game. Although we're sure Kevin Durant will be alright as a stretch four.
