Chandler Parsons could return on Sunday vs. Lakers, per report

The Mavericks could have all their players available on Sunday.

Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons could make his season debut on Sunday when the Mavericks visit the Lakersreports Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears.

Parsons had hybrid microfracture surgery during the offseason to fix a nagging injury after missing 16 games last season. After getting hurt on March, he tried to play through the pain, returning for one postseason game before he aggravated the initial injury and was shelved for the rest of the playoffs.

When healthy, Parsons was a key contributor for the Mavericks in his first season in Dallas, averaging 17 points, five rebounds and three assists per game while shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc. He played off the ball and on and filled in at both forward spots, which provided coach Rick Carlisle with significant lineup flexibility.

The Mavericks' starting backcourt -- Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews -- missed Thursday's game against the Clippers as maintenance for their injury recoveries, but should return to the lineup on Sunday as well.

Jeremy Evans was filling in at small forward for Dallas, so needless to say, having Parsons back would represent a big upgrade.
