And just like that, summer basketball is about to come to an end. The Spurs will take on the Suns in the Las Vegas Summer League championship game on Monday. After that, the NBA will be put on pause until training camp begins after the summer. For now, though, let's focus on the one summer game remaining.

Spurs vs. Suns, 9 p.m. ET, NBATV

Kyle Anderson has been on fire for the Spurs and was named Summer League MVP for his efforts on Sunday. The 2014 first-round pick is averaging 22 points, six rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals in six games. After losing its opener, San Antonio has won five straight games.

The Spurs are one of a handful of teams with a legitimate chance of winning the 2016 NBA title. With the margin of error at the top of the standings being so slim, Anderson's development could wind up being the rare Summer League trend that ends up mattering come playoff time.

The Suns, who are also 5-1, have received significant contributions from key youngsters. Devin Booker, this year's first-round pick, exploded for 31 points in Sunday's semifinal, while 2013 first-round pick Archie Goodwin and 2014 first round selection T.J. Warren lead the team in scoring.

Monday's championship game can be viewed on NBA TV and with NBA Summer League Live.
