The only thing Karl-Anthony Towns wanted after hitting a free throw was for Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Muhammad to high-five him. Unfortunately for him, they were both too distracted to notice and left him hanging.
Anyone else would have given up and gone back to the line embarrassed, but not Towns. He swallowed his pride, made the extra effort, and got what he wanted. If that's not the perfect example of leadership and persistence, we don't know what is.
