Young Cleveland Clinic patient asks LeBron James to dunk on Lonzo Ball

If LeBron’s word is bond, Lonzo’s got a runaway freight train coming right at him.

LeBron James and his Cavaliers teammates made a trip to the Cleveland Clinic to visit and encourage some of the clinic’s child patients on Wednesday. And while James was there, one patient named Andrew made a unique request involving The King and Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.

“Can you dunk on Lonzo for me?” Andrew asked.

"I got you. I got you," LeBron answered. "I got you. He might not be in my way. Once he sees I'm about to take off, he might move out the way."

Ball and James will meet on the court for the first time as the Cavaliers host the Lakers on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, and LeBron traditionally has been a man of his word. So if Lonzo is in the middle of the paint while LeBron has the ball, he’d better watch out.

A runaway freight train is coming, and most times, once you see him, it’s already too late.
