Derek Fisher was arrested under the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after his car overturned on the 101 Freeway in California early Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Fisher and his one passenger, former reality TV star Gloria Govan, were both uninjured from the wreck.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. headed westbound in a 2015 Cadillac. The 42-year-old Fisher was driving when the vehicle veered right onto the shoulder, made contact with the median, and flipped over. Both Fisher and Govan were helped out of the car without harm, and Fisher was arrested without incident.

The incident took place near Tarzana, a Los Angeles suburb where both Fisher and Govan are residents. Govan was formerly married to current NBA player Matt Barnes.

Fisher coached the New York Knicks from 2014-16 after playing 18 seasons in the NBA, but he has been out of the league since being fired last May.
