Luka Doncic, the favorite to go No. 1 in the 2018 NBA Draft, sunk a smooth buzzer-beating three-point shot to give his Real Madrid team an 82-79 win over Crvena Zvezda on the road.
Walk-off game-winner from Luka Doncic, who finished with 24 PTS (7-for-12 FGs), 9 REBS, 4 AST and 7 TOV in 31 MIN. Not many 19-year-olds in the world comfortable taking and making that shot on the road in an atmosphere like Pionir. Looked every bit of a potential #1 pick tonight. pic.twitter.com/VyFAeuUL0S

The 19-year-old politely walked off the court, already accustomed to making big-time plays against players 10 years or more his senior.
That didn’t stop the announcers from getting excited, though. One is heard screaming “eat that,” after the ball went through the net in this next video.

According to ESPN’s Mike Schmitz, Doncic finished the game with 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting, nine rebounds, four assists, and seven turnovers.
Doncic is noted as one of the best young European prospects ever, competing for what’s widely considered the best basketball team outside the NBA through his teenage years. And he’s their star.
Doncic will land somewhere in the high lottery if he isn’t taken with the top overall pick, and he’s viewed as a potential franchise cornerstone as a guard with forward-like skills, a sweet stroke, and excellent court vision. Get used to his name now.
