It was only a few years ago the Golden State Warriors felt so powerful that most teams didn’t even try to build a winner. Since then, the league addressed the lottery odds, Kevin Durant and LeBron James each changed conferences, and oh yeah, the pandemic. With the league suddenly wide open, this offseason was defined by teams prioritizing the present. In a league without a proven dynasty, more teams than ever think they have a chance. In that sense, the NBA is all-in on this season.
