Penn State kept alive its hopes of making the NCAA Tournament as they defeated Indiana, 61-55. The Lions had three starters score in double digits, but it was their work around the glass that helped them overcome Indiana's late first-half lead and hold the lead in the last half of the game. The held a 28-19 advantage over the Hoosiers in rebounds.
Penn State now must face the Wisconsin Badgers on Friday. Even if they are able to defeat the Badgers, that may not be enough to get them an at-large selection. A win in the semifinals would likely be the way into the Tournament.
Penn State and Wisconsin will be found on ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
