It was a tough opening 35 minutes for Marquette in their 2011 Big East Tournament game against West Virginia, trailing, then battling them neck and neck, but the final five minutes belonged to the Golden Eagles as they pulled away, sealing a 67-61 victory and a trip to the quarterfinals where they will face the Louisville Cardinals.
That game will be tomorrow's nightcap, preceded by Pittsburgh-UConn, Syracuse-St. John's, and Notre Dame-Cincinnati.
