The 2012 NIT Tournament tips off on the same day as the 2012 NCAA Tournament, under much dimmer lights. No. 1s Washington and Seton Hall and an unorthodox road game for a No. 2 seed headline the Tuesday NIT schedule.
The Huskies and their talented roster will be part of just one of the four Region 1 matchups on the night, taking on Texas-Arlington in Seattle. No. 1 Seton Hall will meet No. 8 Stony Brook on the East Coast in a Region 2 tilt.
Meanwhile, No. 2 Dayton hits the road with the First Four occupying its home arena, and plays No. 7 Iowa in Iowa City.
Here's the full schedule of 2012 NIT Tournament first round games for Tuesday. All times are Eastern, and home teams host all games with the exception of Dayton.
