Kentucky heads into the 2012 SEC Tournament as the prohibitive favorites, having gone undefeated in league play, riding a 22-game winning streak and holding a 30-1 overall record. They await the winner of Thursday's game between No. 8 LSU and No. 9 Arkansas (full bracket here). A game against LSU could prove interesting though, as the tournament is being played in the Tigers' backyard at New Orleans Arena
Kentucky is the consensus No. 1 team in the country, but there really aren't any teams in the SEC even close. They finished six games ahead of Tennessee, who won a three-team tiebreaker for the No. 2 seed. No other team in the SEC won more than 22 games either.
