VIDEO: The Fake Field Goal Flip That Added To Les Miles' Mad Genius Reputation

New, comments

I'm not sure what's nuttier: the idea that the fake field goal flip seems like a perfectly rational play call in Les Miles' world, or the idea that ball bounces and a Florida linebacker — Jelani Jenkins, number 43 — sniffs out the play and yet LSU still converts a fourth and three with two yards to spare with the kicker running the ball.

No, wait, the idea that the ball is flipped so perfectly that it goes perfectly laterally and gets to Josh Jasper on the bounce is definitely the craziest thing about this play. Well, except Urban Meyer signaling first down at the end. He should know better than to dispute the magic of Miles.
