College Football Rankings: Three Big Ten Teams In Week 15 USA Today Poll

As usual, there are just three Big Ten teams ranked in the USA Today poll. But those teams have done more than enough to keep their lofty spots.

Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Michigan State all show up in the top seven of the USA Today coaches poll for Week 15, which leads all Football Bowl Subdivision conferences.

It's also all but assured that the conference will get two berths to BCS bowl games this year, too. As previously discussed, Wisconsin should win the BCS rankings tiebreaker and win the conference, earning the automatic BCS bid and a Rose Bowl berth, clearing the way for Ohio State to get a Sugar Bowl berth and take a trip to the Big Easy.

That leaves 11-1 Michigan State out of the BCS bowl game picture, but the Spartans will likely play in January anyway, probably taking a trip to the Capital One Bowl.

And for anyone hating on the Big Ten's lack of depth: the BCS bowl games will richly reward the conference that places two teams in college football's flashiest games, and adding Nebraska — a field goal shy of a BCS bowl game in each of the last two years — in the 2011 season will only help the Big Ten's BCS standing.

Full Big Ten rankings are as follows:

- No. 4 Wisconsin
- No. 6 Ohio State
- No. 7 Michigan State
