BCS Standings Week 10: Stanford Hurdles Boise State Behind LSU, Alabama, OK State

The LSU Tigers topped the BCS rankings for a third straight week, much to nobody's surprise. With just six unbeatens left and the Tigers playing the second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide next week, these standings will change quite a bit next week.

The BCS standings were released on Sunday night and, for the third week in a row, the LSU Tigers remained in the top spot while the Alabama Crimson Tide came in second once again.  The top two teams in the SEC also came in  as the top two teams as well in the Week 10 Harris Poll after doing the same in the Week 10 AP Poll and the Week 10 USA Today coaches poll.

The previously unbeaten Clemson and Kansas State lost this week, too, falling out of the top ten while leaving just six undefeated teams left in college football heading into November -- with the top five all undefeated. Houston is the only unbeaten team not yet in the hunt for the national championship.

The BCS standings will more than likely be changed quite drastically next week considering the top two teams meet at Bryant-Denny Stadium next Saturday. For now, however, let's just enjoy the loveliness that November all but guarantees.
