The game of the equinox or so started out looking like the game of the century, with both high-powered offenses delivering rare three-and-outs. The Oregon Ducks were the first on the scoreboard, taking advantage of a gruesome Andrew Luck interception.

Darron Thomas passed to Lavasier Tuinei (pass the Lavasier) for six, then David Paulson found Mike Garrity on a USC-esque two-point conversion. Eight points!
The good news for Stanford: that's about all the offense Oregon has mustered. The other good news: a 13-play, 78-yard drive followed, capped by a Griff Whalen touchdown catch. But the bad news: a missed extra point. Nobody will score seven points, but fans of points will probably end up liking this game more than they did last week's.
