Mike Haywood Also On Tulane Football Coaching Interviews List, According To Report

Here's another coach to add to the ever-expanding list of potential Tulane Green Wave replacements for Bob Toledo: former Miami RedHawks and momentary Pittsburgh Panthers coach Mike Haywood. Joe Schad reports:

Joe Schad@schadjoe Tulane is speaking with former Miami (OH) coach Mike Haywood

You'll remember Haywood as the coach who was hired to take over for Dave Wannstedt at Pitt after leading Miami from 1-11 to a 9-4 season and bowl victory in only two years. You'll, unfortunately, also remember Haywood as the coach Pitt fired two weeks later due to New Year's Eve felony domestic violence charges.

That makes Haywood and former Boston College Eagles coach Jeff Jagodzinski as reported interviewees and Mike Leach, Tommy Bowden and Rich Rodriguez as reported targets. The former two seem much more realistic for Tulane at this point. You probably didn't need me to tell you that.
