Alamo Bowl 2011: Washington, Baylor Reportedly Meeting In San Antonio

Here's the early favorite for bowl game of the year: the Baylor Bears and Washington Huskies will meet in the Alamo Bowl, according to My San Antonio. That would pair Robert Griffin III, who should be the Heisman Trophy favorite IN A JUST WORLD, with a frequently ham-prone UW team.

The Alamo Bowl is has been played annually since 1993 in the 65,000-seat Alamodome in San Antonio, TX and matches the second choice team from the Pacific-12 and the third choice team from the Big 12.

This year's addition will be played Thursday, December 29 at 9:00 p.m. and televised on ESPN with Dave Pasch, Chris Spielman & Quint Kessenich anouncing.

Iowa has played in the most Alamo Bowls with four appearances while Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech have all appeared three times.
