Jeoffrey Pagan Commits To Alabama On National Signing Day

Surprise! It’s February 2nd and another huge, talented anomaly of human physiology and anatomy has chosen Alabama as the place to display their football talents. Jeoffrey Pagan, a 6’ 4", 272 pound defensive end out of Asheville, North Carolina, sealed his commitment to the Crimson Tide with the faxing of his letter of intent to Tuscaloosa this morning.

Pagan joins the usual class of brilliant talents for the Crimson Tide, becoming one of 13 four-star recruits in this year’s haul for Nick Saban. Pagan will play defensive end in Alabama’s 3-4 scheme, but may redshirt due to being obviously physically gifted but in need of the usual freshman/sophomore development to get his lower body strength and technique online and running. Pagan joins fellow commit Quinton Dial as huge gets for Alabama on the day.

A day of few surprises is what coaches prefer on Signing Day, and thus far that is what Nick Saban has for his annual recruiting breakfast.
