Jermauria Rasco Commits To LSU On National Signing Day

Jermauria Rasco, like most high school football stars in Louisiana, will stay home for his collegiate career: the defensive end from Evangel Christian in Shreveport has committed to play for Les Miles on this National Signing Day.

The Tigers prevailed in the skirmish for Rasco's services despite a run at Rasco by Texas...

(It's) down to Texas and LSU. Considering Rasco never made an official visit to Texas, even with Mack Brown camping out with his whole coaching staff in Mama Rasco's living room, expect Rasco to be an LSU Tiger on Wednesday.

...and Florida getting Rasco's last official visit. But between proximity and the history of brilliant defensive line play at LSU under Les Miles (Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, Drake Nevis), Baton Rouge was always Rasco's most logical landing spot.
