Tate Forcier Reportedly Transfers To Miami, Describes Al Golden In Classic QB Force Fashion

Tate Forcier enjoyed his Wednesday visit to the Miami Hurricanes so much that he’s already signed papers to transfer to South Beach, according to Bruce Feldman. After seeing campus, Forcier described his experience to Joe Schad in the most QB FORCE of terms.

Forcier to Schad:

I really want to be a part of the rebirth at Miami. There is so much positive energy around this program.

Isn’t that so QB FORCE? The pairing of Forcier with Al Golden, a man whose biggest claim to fame so far is a vintage workout video, seems too excellent to be true, so let’s contain ourselves for a moment. The former Michigan QB had recently narrowed his list of potential transfer schools to Miami, Kansas State, Washington, Arizona, and Montana, with the Canes visit coming first, but it looks like love at first sight.

The Canes should be happy to have another arm on board, with Stephen Morris unproven and Jacory Harris proven in the wrong way. For Forcier to cut his tour short to sign with Miami would be a nice boost for a Miami offseason that hasn’t endured the smoothest of transition periods.
