SEC Statue Making Continues At An Absurd Pace

Auburn is having a statue of John Heisman made to match their three statues of Heisman winners. A direct link to Auburn from Heisman does exist: Heisman coached at the school from 1895-1899, so they're not just shoehorning in the statue to make some fantastical link between the Tigers and college football's best equivalent of a Moses figure. While the school is at it, though, they should go ahead and cast a statue of Nick Saban, since he has driven through town several times, Kanye West (his mother got her PhD there,) and Jimmy Buffett (dropped out, later graduated from USM.) LET'S JUST ALL MAKE STATUES OF EVERYONE EVER BORN OUT IN FRONT OF OUR STADIUMS.*

*Dear SEC: please stop with all the statue-making. You're just asking for metal thieves to melt down your heroes for meth money.
