The Arkansas Razorbacks are reportedly about to announce former assistant John L. Smith as their interim head coach for the next 10 months. While the move to hire an older coach who hasn't been a national name in more than half a decade has some chuckling, Hogs players seem just fine with Jeff Long's choice.
The happiest day of my life... hearing that John L.Smith is coming back to the ville to b our head coach...#priceless

Smith was Arkansas' special teams coach from 2009 through last season, after which he left for the head job at Weber State.
