Alabama Finally Loses Something

The university had claimed that [Daniel] Moore's paintings of Alabama football violated the school's trademark rights. The 11th U.S. Circuit of Appeals upheld a district court's ruling that Moore's paintings and prints are protected by the First Amendment, and reversed the lower court's decision by also protecting Moore's prints on calendars.
