Jerry Sandusky was found guilty on 45 of 48 counts, including 25 felonies and 14 first degree felonies, in a child sexual abuse case that came to a close late Friday evening. The defense for Jerry Sandusky requested bail for their client leading up to sentencing, but it was quickly denied by the judge. With Sandusky's bail being revoked, he will immediately head to the local jail before being transferred to prison.
While in the local jail, Sandusky will be placed on observation for 72 hours on "suicide watch," which is standard operating procedure as most are severely distraught after immediately being found guilty. He will then be processed and sent off to another facility.
