Freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel, one of the many passers competing to replace top-10 draft pick Ryan Tannehill at Texas A&M, has been arrested for fighting, failing to identify, and having a fake ID. His mugshot is also a shirtless one, which is always a good sign for your potential starting quarterback.

"He remained in the Brazos County Jail on Friday in lieu of $6,435 bail," notes AggieSports.com.

The four young men battling for the QB honors are Jameill Showers, sophomore Matt Joeckel, Manziel and freshman Matt Davis, a four-star recruit.

Only Showers has any game experience, having lofted a handful of tosses last year. He's also got the dual threat thing going for him, which is always nice. Some observers have felt he's been the best in A&M's spring efforts thus far, with Manziel showing up in second.
