Isaiah Crowell has been dismissed by the Georgia Bulldogs for his arrest early Friday morning for running through a police checkpoint with a gun. The latest ends what was a short but eventful stint with the Bulldogs. Crowell ran for 909 yards and six touchdowns as a true freshman. Those numbers could have been even better, but Crowell was constantly on and off the field due to injuries and various off-field transgressions.

While the Bulldogs are losing a supreme talent in their backfield, the good news is that there are other quality options on the depth chart. Georgia could turn to the experienced Ken Malcome or Brandon Harton, or a pair of touted true freshmen in Keith Marshall and Todd Gurley.
