The USA Today Coaches' Poll entered Week 1 with LSU at No. 1 ahead of Alabama and USC, but a trampling of No. 8 Michigan by the Tide means Nick Saban's crew sweeps the polls this week. LSU dips to No. 3 by a narrow margin, with USC having beaten a slightly better opponent in Hawai'i than LSU did in North Texas.

Oregon and Oklahoma switch spots, as do Florida State and Georgia, just as they did in the AP Top 25. West Virginia and South Carolina tied in the AP, but here WVU gets the clear edge.
