2013 NFL Draft top 100 big board

Our current top prospect is Utah senior defensive tackle Star Lotulelei. He may not have had the eye-gouging numbers like Ndamukong Suh did at Nebraska, but Lotuelei was a consistent and at times dominant player for the Utes. The first-team All-American finished this season with 42 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, four pass breakups and four recovered fumbles. Still, he needs a good offseason to maintain the top spot in the draft.

The class in general is a good one along the defensive line. Ten of the top 25 players play along the defensive front. Offensive tackle should be a good group in the draft as long as some key juniors go pro.

Tops among those offensive tackles is Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M. Johnny Manziel gets a lot of the credit for the Aggies, but Joeckel and Jake Matthews on the right side are the best tackle combination in the country. Both have catapulted up the board this season and could be the first pair of tackles from the same school to go in the top 10 since 1991. Because the 2013 NFL Draft has no obvious choice as the top overall pick, these rankings will be fluid through the end of April. There will obviously be another update after the underclassmen entry deadline on Jan. 15. But then there should be another one before and after the NFL Combine and at least one more immediately before the draft.
