Iowa State inside linebacker A.J. Klein suffered a knee injury on Monday. He doesn't think it's serious, but it's likely his Combine day is over.
Pro Football Talk initially reported that Klein had a "serious knee injury", but the former Cyclone went on the record and tweeted that it's not that serious, and he expects to be ready for Iowa State's Pro Day on March 26.
To everyone wondering about my little fall... All is good no serious injury I will finish up my shuttles and vertical jump at pro day mar 26— AJ Klein (@AJKlein47) February 25, 2013
Later, Klein's agent Scott Smith also refuted the PFT report:
Re @ajklein47, report from @profootballtalk is unfounded…no knee injury, no pain, no swelling, walking fine…AJ is fine

Klein managed to run a 4.66 40 time before the injury ended his day early. He was named co-defensive player of the year in the Big 12, but there are questions about his size and durability. He's unlikely to get drafted before Day 3.
