The USC Trojans hold their pro day workouts Wednesday, March 27, and it will likely be centered around the throwing session of quarterback Matt Barkley.
Barkley, still recovering from a shoulder injury that caused him to miss USC's final two games of the season as well as the Senior Bowl and its workouts, didn't throw at the NFL Combine, so this will be an all-important stage to impress scouts.
One of Barkley's top wide receivers, junior Robert Woods, will also participate in the pro day workouts after snagging 76 catches for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2012 season for the Trojans. He was second on the team in all three categories.
Among other Trojans to watch at the pro day workouts include center Khaled Holmes, defensive end Wes Horton, safeties Jawanza Starling and T.J. McDonald and cornerback Nickell Robey, who stands at 5'7.
McDonald made an impression during some of the drills at the combine. Among them, he recorded a 40.0-inch vertical jump and 131.0-inch broad jump.
