2013 NFL draft: Luke Joeckel, Geno Smith headline 23 attendees in New York

Luke Joeckel and Geno Smith are just two of the top names who are confirmed to be attending the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

USA TODAY Sports

The green room at Radio City Music Hall in New York won't have as many quarterbacks as usual given the relative lack of top-flight talent at the position this year, but West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith is one of two set to attend.

On Wednesday, the NFL released a list of 23 players who have accepted an invitation to attend to the 2013 NFL Draft. Florida State's E.J. Manuel will be the other quarterback in attendance. That quarterback class is literally and figuratively dwarfed by linemen, as five offensive tackles, two offensive guards and six defensive linemen will be in attendance as well.

Many of the players invited stand a solid chance at being drafted in the first round. Some of the fringe names for the first round include Florida State OT Menelik Watson, LSU safety Eric Reid and Manuel. It wouldn't be shocking if any of them did go, nor would it be shocking if all five offensive tackles went in the first round, given the strength of the position.

There's also many big name players not going. USC quarterback Matt Barkley should go in the first round, but it's unclear where, and he's not going to attend. Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o is not going to be in attendance, and his draft stock has plummeted this offseason.
